Idly, Avalon wonders what they will do if he cries. They were never in the same physical space as crying victims. He did not cry while they were in his body. Despair and sadness had given way to an empty hopelessness by the time they had moved in to end it. They find the door with their toe and push it closed.

Rawne doesn't cry. Not yet, at least. He swipes a bottle off the table and drinks. "Is that all you were here for?"

They do a kind of half-shrug. “I can be companionship for as long as you need.”

Rawne cannot be their first kill without their powers. Like they did with the girl, they will need to start with people who will not take much pushing to kill. They cannot move too quickly. They need to find something that works.

"Do you know what that means? The companionship I want?" He sits on the bed, still looking at Avalon.

“Yes.” And they want it, too. Their reason for wanting it does not match his, but they want it. They want knowledge and experience and information. They want to know why, in any way they can.

"Then get over here." He holds out a hand to them, breathing a little easier now that he has something to focus on.

Avalon walks over and sits down next to Rawne. They pull their shirt over their head, revealing a thin torso and flat chest. They toss the shirt across the room. Their body is pale and thin, almost skeletal. They look more inhuman than they have felt since their powers were blocked off. It seems right.

Rawne pulls his shirt off, as well, before reaching out and pulling Avalon into his lap and kissing them. His skin is pale, as well, but he's far more muscular. He feels like he should be careful, or else he'll break them. And he doesn't want to.

Avalon knows that most women and some men like muscles, but they fail to see the appeal. Muscles have never been particularly beautiful to them. Rawne is not particularly beautiful to them. But this is intriguing. Avalon feels his hands on their body, his touch gentle and soft. They twist, pressing themself against him to lean further into the kiss. It does feel good, physically. Rawne’s skin is warm on their own.
