You'd guess right, but I'm not here to ride you ass about it, if that makes you feel any better.

It does. What exactly did you want to talk about?

What you plan on doin' about it. How bein' paired is goin' for you.

Being paired is frustrating, but I'm not giving up. I plan on sticking near them so they can't do anything in the near future and I'm trying to stop them from killing people.

Good. Don't. Yeah, it's a hard job but nothin' good comes easy.

You know, you ain't gotta sit on 'em like Shaw does Will. We're on a magical boat that grants us more... creative options, right?

What creative options do you suggest?

What's their- their thing?

I talked to them once and not for long enough to pick up much and while I could go the easy route - them becomin' not solid anytime they try to pick up a weapon or strike someone - it's a very custom tailored kinda idea.

Their thing? They kill people because they don't know any other way to interact with them, as far as I can tell.

And curiosity.

Did they get any kind of direct punishment for what they did? Or is the punishment just the sittin'?

[major_rawne]

I confiscated anything that could be used as a weapon from their room. And, in the current situation, Will killed them, which I consider part of the punishment.

Partly warden business, partly personal. It's about Avalon. I'm sure they've been keeping you busy lately.

We need a medical Zero-[It's half muttered to himself behind a sigh.]

You could make it so every weapon he holds goes as limp as a noodle- [Since shock therapy was out of the question.]

That's... that's definitely an idea. I don't think they go for barehanded killing.

[Though they might, if they had no weapons.]

They frighten me. [Norton will just be blunt about it.] We've never actually interacted, but what I've seen and read frightens me. Do they have their powers?

It's a thought. I'm just sayin' we're in a wild realm of possibility here. Punishments, monitorin' - it doesn't have to be pure analog.

Plus, kids gotta learn how to manage themselves without oversight sometimes.

[Rawne reaches out and squeezes Norton's arm.] No, they don't. Those got stripped away the first time they killed someone and I won't give them back until they show they won't just start murdering again if they have them.

They're a little old for me to think of them as a kid, but you have a point. I'll think it over.

And if you need someone to talk about all this.. wardenin' shit... I don't believe we're supposed to be alone in this.

That would be... thank you. It'd do me some good to talk to someone about all this.

[He is feeling alone in this, in the moment. Avalon is a lot more of a problem than he thought they would be.]

Good. Hallucinations. Mind manipulation. I really hate those sorts of things. [His shoulders are a bit hunched and his fingers of each hand twitching against each other in nervous restlessness.]
