What usually happens is we argue, we punch each other a few times, maybe I get my nose broken again, maybe I come out on top. He bleeds off some frustration. He doesn't fucking shoot me.
I think he, maybe, kind of reminds me of me. When I was first here. Angry at the world and unused to anything that wasn't hierarchy and near-blind loyalty.

Time makes everything change. If your plan is based in a strong emotion, like anger, it's nigh on impossible for that to last very long, either. I hated my commanding officer for years. Wanted to kill him. But that faded, eventually. It had to.

That's what I'm hoping. I like her, but she's all... she knows way more about tech than I do.
She's smart. Dangerous. Interesting. I don't know, there's just something about her... it's not a romantic attraction, she's just... someone worth getting to know.

That's my hope. I do want to help her graduate.

I didn't know what graduation would turn me into. I was used to being a bad person. Then my warden... disappeared, and I graduated.
