[Rawne shows up in more-or-less his usual black fatigues, he's just got a t-shirt on, too. He looks around as he enters. It's not really what he expected.]

This looks peaceful, for a fighting arena.

Definitely more peaceful than the gym.

[Mostly he just does not feel like dealing with Jacobi giving him shit about this whole affair.]

But no, this is where Kiryu and I usually train. I think it's near where he lived back on his world. [He kicks off his shoes as he talks.] It's a bit less painful when you get to have a soft landing.

[Rawne has to sit down to unlace his boots, but he does so quickly.]

Much less. You want to toss me around?

[He's fine if Tim does.]

Like it's any fun if you don't fight back.

[It's a little bit flirt, but it's mostly sincere. He wants actual resistance, he wants to fight, not just vent.]

Just try not to go for my face too much? Or I'll never hear the end of it.

Not the face. Got it.

[He stretches, showing off a little for Tim.]

Count to three or are we just going for it?

[He lets himself enjoy the view, as he walks into the rope ring ahead of Rawne.]

On three's good. [And he'll drop into an easy, slightly lazy combat stance when Rawne steps in as well.] One, two...

[Rawne steps in just after him, sliding into his own combat stance.]

Three.

[And he aims a kick at Tim's shins.]

[He throws his weight back immediately to dodge the kick, and turns the shift of his weight forward into a short leap to try and bring an elbow slamming down into Rawne's head.]

[Rawne dodges at the last possible second, bringing his hands up to shove Tim's arm aside, then shoving forwards to try and knock him over.]

[The shove gets him square in the chest and he staggers, but he manages to grab a fistful of Rawne's shirt to - narrowly - keep himself from toppling, and since he's already off-balance he yanks himself up by the one hand, trying to swing his knee up into Rawne's stomach as he does.]

[Rawne tries to turn aside to avoid that, but Tim's grip on his shirt keeps him from moving that far. He coughs and staggers from the blow to his midsection and swings his fist at Tim's side in retaliation.]
