What are you planning on studying?

I have a book of basic science experiments. Practicing with microscopes is part of that so I thought I’d work my way through.

Are you from a world with a lot of magic?

I'm a magician, but I don't know how you'd define 'a lot' of magic.

My studies were more focused on what that requires - languages and maths, just to start, but I don't know how much of a comparison can be made with other worlds.

Where I come from, there's magic, but it's dangerous. The only people in the Imperium who use it are sanctioned psykers. And they're usually kept away from everyone else.

That doesn't sound too dissimilar to what I know. Magic is dangerous. That's why it needs years of study and control. Unless you want to end up dead or worse, and why the government keeps track of who can use it.

No, I'm completely normal. I'd have been taken away by the Black Ships if I had any kind of power.

Yes, they travel around the galaxy, picking up psykers and bringing them to... wherever they're trained.

Have you studied science?

Yes, though my school days are long behind me. Most of what I know is only applicable in war.

How do you use it in war?

Making weapons is science. Making and using explosives doubly so.
