[Rawne keeps a hand on his knife when he opens the door, but drops it when he sees that it's Norton. He pulls him into his room and pushes him against the door, kissing him.]
[Norton slides his fingers in Rawne's hair and opens his mouth to the kiss. He lets it go on for about ten seconds before dropping his hands to Rawne's shoulders and gently pushing him away.]

Pagan said something similar to me, about waiting until the wardens are less wary. It's a logical consideration, and you avoid having to take out any uninvolved wardens who are just guarding her. Although Pagan being concerned about consequences now is a novelty.

Just don't leave it too long or else the message will be diluted, or worse, she'll graduate or some nonsense like that.
[It's good to have someone he can rely on for violence. Pagan may be fun, but Norton doesn't trust him to follow through on anything if it became too inconvenient for him. Rawne, however, is loyal.]
