OOC PREFERENCES:
CONTACT METHOD: Plurk
THREAD-JACKING: Thread-jack away, though if it'll be a plotty thing, please ask first
FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: Totally feel free to canon puncture him. I'm not sure if anyone here has read the books but finding out (for example) that he actually likes Colonel-Commissar Gaunt in the future would be hilarious (for me).
BACKTAGGING: Totally, feel free!
AVOIDED TOPICS: None I can think of, Rawne's a violent, uncouth guy.
PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: She/her

IC CHARACTERISTICS:
CURRENT CANON POINT: The end of Necropolis, the third book.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Elim Rawne is a tall, dark haired man in his late twenties. His most striking feature is the starburst tattoo around one eye. He's well muscled and in fighting shape. He has some scars that are mostly hidden under clothing from being tortured. When he first arrives on the Barge, he'll smell faintly of explosives and ozone, though that will fade. After that, he'll primarily smell like soap or sweat if he's been working out.
DEMEANOR: Rawne is an angry, snobbish, recalcitrant, stubborn person. He speaks to people very abruptly and prefers to keep them at arm's length, at least. He doesn't talk about himself much at all and deflects most rumors or jokes with either a glare or very dry sarcasm. He tries to seem as unapproachable as possible, which isn't hard, since he's so bad-tempered.
ABILITIES: Rawne is a trained soldier and talented demolitions man. He has a highly trained stealth ability and a camo-cloak that enables him to blend in almost anywhere.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Rawne is in good physical health. He does have scars from being tortured that may ache if someone with psychic abilities utilizes that ability near him.
CABIN INFORMATION: His cabin door is a plain, natural wood door with the number on it. Inside is the small set of rooms he got when he joined the Tanith Attica militia. The door opens into a sitting room/kitchen, with a bedroom and bathroom leading off of that. It's sparsely furnished, but most of the furniture is made of nalwood, a light-colored tree that exists only on Tanith.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Rawne will find many thing offensive. The non-existence of the God-Emperor, the idea that non-humans are equal to humans and deserve to live, the idea that the Imperium is a horrible, fascist place, ect. It'll all offend him and piss him off, because he's been raised to think the Imperium is the heights of civilization and no one other than God-Emperor worshiping humanity deserves to live.

IC PERMISSIONS:
MENTAL: Yes, though he will react violently and try to kill whoever does it if he knows who it is, as he will assume they're a psyker (assumed heretical, evil, and must be killed).
MIMICRY: Yes, though he will not be happy at least.
VIOLENCE: Yes, feel free. He's violent enough to like it.
MAGIC: Yes, though he will react similar to mental effects (he'll assume they're a psyker).
DEBATE: Yes, though it will probably turn into a fight.
OTHER / NOTES:To be clear, psyker's are people with psychic powers in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. They're seen as enemies of mankind unless explicitly approved by the Inquisition. Since there's no inquisition here, he's going to assume they're all heretics. He's going to assume most, if not all, people on board are heretics, actually, as no one's from the Imperium and some of them are non-human.
